EDH PERFORMING ARTS- β€œBanana Splits”

Age 7 +

What is it about?

EDH PERFORMING ARTS builds strong technical dance skills that improves physical ability, artistic expression, musicality, voice and confidence on and off stage.

As students continue to refine these skills, they gain a solid foundation for future careers in dance, stage, or other creative fields, while also developing discipline, teamwork, and a better understanding of their bodies and use of their voice and tone for public speaking and performance.

EDH PERFORMING ARTS encourages independent thinking, self expression, and personal interpretation. With a structured yet flexible approach, students are free to explore and develop their creativity. This supportive environment helps build confidence, take risks, push creative boundaries, and express themselves in an authentic way.

Boost communication and teamwork skills.

Students study modern dance, commercial and broadway jazz, contemporary, musical theatre & voice, with the drive being dance literacy and performance skill.

The EDH syllabus (encompassing ATOD) lays a strong foundation for movement exploration – dance, sport and healthy living. It helps students develop key skills like body awareness, coordination, strength and flexibility, which are essential for both dance and other physical activities. EDH PERFORMING ARTS fosters transferable skills from the dance studio into school and study life and beyond into their professional lives.

EDH’s PERFORMING ARTS program in conjunction with Rambert Grades, ATOD and the International Dance council, encourages lifelong habits for physical fitness, mental clarity, confidence in speech and voice and emotional balance.
